Magnormos has announced the Australasian premiere cast of [title of show]: it is David Spencer (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Jeff, Michael Lindner (Mary Poppins) as Hunter, Laura Fitzpatrick (The Thing About Men) as Susan and introducing Lara Thew (Damn Yankees) as Heidi. The show premieres on Friday 30 April and will run through to Saturday 15 May.

As well Magnormos have announced a Stephen Sondheim Festival for September to help celebrate Sondheim's 80th birthday. The festival will include the Australian premiere of THE FROGS, and a concert-series of his lesser-celebrated works including: SATURDAY NIGHT, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, and ANYONE CAN WHISTLE.
Aaron Joyner, founder of Magnormos, will join me on air on JOY 94.9 at 10pm on Wednesday 12th May for a special episode of The Frequency which will chart the careers of two US cabaret divas, the late Nancy LaMott and Barbara Cook.
